Miss Paintbrush and Twistee have been busy working on and fine-tuning new designs lately. And of course, many mummys and daddys still have these concerns about Facepainting:

What if my child/ child's friends don't want to get the painting on their face?
Will it be difficult to wash off?

In answer to that-

Facepainting comes together with Armpainting. Be it having a Lightning Mcqueen on their arm or face, Miss/ Mr Paintbrush does it equally well! In fact, we will ask if kids if they want it on their arm or on their face before we paint!

The facepaints we use are water-based cosmetic-grade paints. So these paints can be easily removed with the use of sponge, warm water and body soap! No worries of tough removal! =)

Painting a McQueen!

And the tale of 2 brothers- the shark and the dinosaur!

We've also been getting praises and nice thank-yous from clients which really make our day, and such acknowledgements for our guys' hard work and efforts!

Hi Michelle,

Thank You for your service. The balloon sculptor was fantastic. She was very skillful in balloon twisting and managed to grant all the kid's requests. She also came very punctually at 4pm. All my relatives were asking me for your contact details at the end of the party. We really enjoyed having her. Looking forward to hiring more entertainers from you for future events. =)

Thanks & Regards,
Mrs. Champion

Today, we did a Makeup party for our 8 year old not-so-little princess, Riya!

Here's our princess Riya all dressed up!

And of course not forgetting our beautiful party guests,

and we ended the party with a loud bang with the enthusiastic kids engaged in fun and active games by our Gamesmaster! The parents and kids did enjoy themselves indeed!

Besides that, we are introducing MANICURE PARTIES! We will be doing our first Manicure party this weekend, and pictures will be out soon!

Having brought in a couple of new talents under training and awaiting the day that they would be ready to bring joy to YOUR parties, here's what else we've been up to!

We did a Magic Show in Malay, for a party where the guests were all non-Singaporeans, most of whom did not speak much English! That was a really unique experience but seeing the smiles on the kids and adults alike, helped us understand that we still made the party a big success! And of course, Mr MAGIC continues to infuse joy and an element of shock while he stuns the crowd with his magic!

Besides that, we have had Miss and Mr Paintbrush work on new designs for Face/ Armpainting, as we have found that many kids actually like to add glitter onto their paintings!

Today was Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day at all B & J stores all around Singapore! This year, Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day raised funds for the Dyslexic Association of Singapore! Get a cone and drop some change for them! =)

So the manager of United Square's outlet had requested for us to provide 2 pairs balloon columns as part of their decorations for their event site, which was at the atrium at the basement of USQ!

We had 2 pairs of columns set up for them on the eve of the event, and placed inside their party corner- the Scoop U.

On 12th April, there was already a queue even though the event had not started yet! At the entrance, these 2 columns have a huge icecream cone balloon sculpture, to match the name of the event- Free Cone Day!

Pair of columns at the exit of Free Cone Day!

USQ pretty Scoopys with the huge Icecream cone balloon sculpture!

There was even a passerby, whom made a donation to the organistion and requested not to have icecream, but to have those 2 icecream sculptures at the end of the event! Sweet!

And everyone left Free Cone Day, happy with their fill of icecream in their tummies! Boy was that a really awesome event! =)

Recently, Mr MAGIC was invited by the art-director for ‘Melody’, a short film supported by the Singapore Film Commission and Nanyang Technological University.

We were really excited to be part of this production- ‘Melody’, which is a film about a girl who struggles between fantasy and reality. Mr MAGIC was to make an appearance in the scene where there is a kid’s birthday party held at night in a garden. It was depicted to be a magical birthday party scene with sparkling lights, kids in fairy costumes, colourful decorations as they celebrate Melody’s birthday.

Michelle and Mr MAGIC headed down to NTU on 2nd April and we were greeted by a really nicely-decorated 'party' scene!

The kids with Mr MAGIC at their party table,

and the Directors, Cameraman & crew!

It was a really great experience working with them as they were experimenting with the different angles to capture one single scene. Wow, we never knew it was tough job doing filming! The kids were really outspoken and Mr MAGIC enjoyed himself working with these mini-actresses too!=)

-------------

Dear Michelle and MR.MAGIC,

On behalf of the director and the production team, we would like to say a BIG thank you to you and MR.MAGIC for making the production a success! I apologise for the bratty kids and I have to admit that Mr.Magic has a very tolerance for bratty kids! Personally, I would like to thank Mr. Magic for entertaining the kids and 'tahan' their nonsense and to you Michelle for your support.

We will pass you the DVD when it is available in about 2-3 months time. Till then, attached are some pictures of MR.MAGIC.

I wish we could see more tricks from Mr.Magic, but due to the contraints and repetitiveness of filmmaking, we only could see one. Thank you for understanding.

If you need any help in the future, please do let me know, or if there is anyway I could help.

I hope our paths will cross again oneday at some party!

Regards,
Wesley

Twistee, Mr MAGIC and Miss Paintbrush have been sooooooo busy recently! Wow, the kids are really having all the fun they can have at the parties!

-------------

And as usual, some thank-yous from happy parents! We're really glad when clients send us really nice thank-you mails to thank us for our efforts!

Dear Michelle,

I want to say a big THANK YOU to you and your team for making the birthday entertainment such a great success. All the kids loved your team members and they were excellent with the little children - so patient and always happy to do one more painting or balloon. I did make the cheque out for $***, so please ensure that both the artists get $15 tip from us. Thank you once again for letting me pay on the day itself.

Many mothers already have taken your business cards and i'm sure they're going to book you guys for their birthday parties.

Thank you once again! You guys are awesome.

With best regards,
Priyanka

Look out for our upcoming post on Mr MAGIC being involved in filming a short film! Till then!

Yesterday, we were back at Red Schoolhouse again, for their Charity drive! Twistee and Miss Paintbrush are always glad to do our part for society!

Here are some pictures taken at the Charity drive!

Hardworking Miss Paintbrush at work!

Little boy's request for a shooting star,

Boy with his 2 paintings- a tiger and a dinosaur!

And then the adults came to get paintings too! In the name of charity of course =)

And lastly, the incharge getting a painting too!

-----------------------------

We also participated in an Open House at LCentral Jurong East, so that the kids are entertained while their daddy and mummy finds out more about courses and classes at LCentral!

The kids had a good time, we had a good time, and definitely the friendly staff did too!

Dear Michelle,

We had a wonderful time today with the painting and the balloons. It was wonderful seeing the children so excited!

I would love to have you around for future open houses and I am free to suggestions on how to make it better.

Look forward to working with you again!

Cheers,
Lynette

- MISS Twistee ;)

We invited a really experienced Magician for this Magic show for a bunch of 10 year olds today! And the kids were really intrigued by his Magic tricks!

A fan that was broken the moment she took it?

And the hair-raising experience- THE ARM CHOPPER!!

It is great having Tom onboard to have Magic shows done for the older kids! This is just one of them, and many more to come!

--------

Besides running Magic shows, how can we possibly forget Twistee? Twistee has been bringing joy to birthday parties- to the kids and ADULTS!

And as always, one of our happy clients whom dropped us a really nice thankyou note!

Hi Michelle

It was great having you guys around for the party. Received lots of compliments from the guests as well...didn't expects the adults to love it too! :-p

Will definitely refer FUNTERTAINMENT PARTIES to our friends if they ever needed such services.

Cheers!
Michelle

And lastly, we have another new buddy onboard! Meet Tutu the Octopus! :) He will be appearing hand-in-hand with Twistee in many Balloon Sculpting shows from now on! Till then!

Funtertainment Parties received a letter today from GMS(S)!

On closer look, we realised it was a 'Thank you' letter from them thanking us for our services rendered at that meaningful event. No doubt it was a great and enriching experience for us too!

----------------
Last weekend, as usual, we were at Chalk for our Brunch entertainment for the guests at that restaurant.

We even met a group of adults whom got enthusiastic over Facepainting, as it was one of their friend's 25th birthday, which explains this flowery design!

Oh and of course, never forgetting their helpful and cheeky youthful staffs! Check out her mustache!

Catch us at Chalk Restaurant, Mount Sophia Road, 12-2pm every 1st Sunday of the month and do say Hi to us if you see Twistee and Miss Paintbrush there! =)
