Over the past year, we have done kids' entertainment at schools, tuition centres, restaurants etc, on a regular basis. Having us at their events make it special as we know what kids want best!

We love it when our clients are satisfied with our services too! One such example would be a recent Open House we did for a tuition centre (We've been doing entertainment at all their Open House across different outlets over the past few months!).

Glad with his 2 dinosaur paintings!



New generation sports car which is super popular with the boys!



This boy wanted a painting of a particular breed of dinosaur, but he only knew the Chinese name for it- and we definitely didn't have a transalator on hand! It wasn't a T-rex, nor was it a Pterodactyl, but it was a... Well, I'm not too sure what it was either! But he found the dinosaur he wanted from the jar of dinosaurs the centre had!



And yes, Facepainting is for all ages- for the younger kids, we would prefer to keep it to painting on their arm only as they tend not to stay still enough for us to paint on their face =)




In the meantime, we're in the midst of revamping our Magic Show!

And from Funtertainment Parties, A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU WONDERFUL KIDS AND PARENTS!!

Miss Paintbrush and Twistee have been busy working on and fine-tuning new designs lately. And of course, many mummys and daddys still have these concerns about Facepainting:

What if my child/ child's friends don't want to get the painting on their face?
Will it be difficult to wash off?

In answer to that-
Facepainting comes together with Armpainting. Be it having a Lightning Mcqueen on their arm or face, Miss/ Mr Paintbrush does it equally well! In fact, we will ask if kids if they want it on their arm or on their face before we paint!

The facepaints we use are water-based cosmetic-grade paints. So these paints can be easily removed with the use of sponge, warm water and body soap! No worries of tough removal! =)

Recently, Mr MAGIC was invited by the art-director for ‘Melody’, a short film supported by the Singapore Film Commission and Nanyang Technological University.

We were really excited to be part of this production- ‘Melody’, which is a film about a girl who struggles between fantasy and reality. Mr MAGIC was to make an appearance in the scene where there is a kid’s birthday party held at night in a garden. It was depicted to be a magical birthday party scene with sparkling lights, kids in fairy costumes, colourful decorations as they celebrate Melody’s birthday.

Michelle and Mr MAGIC headed down to NTU on 2nd April and we were greeted by a really nicely-decorated 'party' scene!

It was a really great experience working with them as they were experimenting with the different angles to capture one single scene. Wow, we never knew it was tough job doing filming! The kids were really outspoken and Mr MAGIC enjoyed himself working with these mini-actresses too!=)

I apologise for the bratty kids and I have to admit that Mr.Magic has a very tolerance for bratty kids! Yesterday, we were back at Red Schoolhouse again, for their Charity drive! Twistee and Miss Paintbrush are always glad to do our part for society!

It was an exciting weekend as we had so many parties that we were so packed going from one party to another! But it was a good weekend cos many kids were happy!

And if you think Balloon Sculpting is boring because kids have to wait there, you're wrong! :P

We do Balloon Sculpting as an activity, not just solely as a balloon for them (Unless you wish to pre-order with us, it's fine too!) because we interact and talk with the kids while we make their balloons, with jokes, with questions, with even just a simple balloon trick, and the kids are bound to be entertained even if they have to wait!

We had Barney-themed parties today! TWO of them! :)

Barney was a hit at both parties and the kids were all having tremendous fun dancing around, singing with, playing games with, and taking photos with Barney!

We also had Facepainting, FOR ALL AGES! :D

We had our FIRST paid Magic Show- Magic by Mr Magic, today held at Ashley's birthday party at Pat's Schoolhouse Whitley!

When we first arrived, the kids were already calling out to us as they were all expecting the Magician at Ashley's birthday! It was an awesome party and I'm sure all the kids had a blast! Loud laughters, shocked faces, and non-stop fun, the kids were all great sport during the Magic Show!

And the very nice birthday girl actually gave the Magician and Balloonist some snacks from her Birthday too! And indeed, we're happy knowing the little ones love us too!

On Saturday, we were part of Cherie Hearts KidsWorld @ River Valley's Open House!!

The principal and teachers from even the headquarters were so impressed that they requested for us to extend our time there.

Today, we hosted a party for 2 year old Anthea at NUSS Graduate Club!

This time round, we did Decorations, Balloons sculpting, and Facepainting + Stick-on tattoos!

The decorations done this time round were rather simple- helium balloons of stars and normal round ones.

And we prepared them in bundles to be topped with a star, (this one had been dragged around the room by the birthday girl, so this bundle was looking rather terrible already!)




we tied them to the entrance,

and we used the extras as extra decorations for the nice HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner catered by us for FREE!!

It was a great party! As both adults and kids participated in our balloons sculpting and facepainting! :)


Psssst, NEW PLANS! Michelle's Parties is coming up with a LUCKY DRAW program as one of the possible choices for parents! :) Watch out for this space! :)

Yesterday, we had a big birthday party for the birthday girl Feodosia, whom wore a mermaid dress! Pretty dress on a pretty lil girl! :) It was the best party we'd ever done cos there were so many kids involved! :)

The girls enjoyed the Makeup,
the boys enjoyed the Face/ Handpainting,
all of them enjoyed the Stick-on tattoos,
all of them had fun at the Games,
and all of them had fun with US!

We even received a Thankyou letter from Feodosia's mummy! It's really encouraging knowing that parents like what we've done for their kids' birthday party cos it also makes their money spent, worthwhile! :)

Yesterday, 19 June 2010, our Balloonists team had our very first charity involvement at Pat's Schoolhouse, Whitley, and the feedback and response from the kids, parents and teachers was SPLENDID! Our team had fun, and we definitely enjoyed participating in such fund-raising activities whereby we can be socially responsible by contributing to the less fortunate!

I wish to thank you and your team for the marvellous job you did on Saturday. The children really loved the balloons you sculpted. Although you mentioned earlier that you will only be doing simple sculptures, you surprised me by doing really elaborate ones just to please the children.

It is rare for young people to give up their time on Saturdays to do charity work so I really appreciate your contribution. It made the funfair lively and the children very happy.
